Antique Hat Pin Jar With Double Lid Pink with Floral and Art Nouveau 5" Flaw 3.5” x 3.5” x 5” 10.6 oz Lovely old porcelain double lidded jar. I believe this is a hat pin holder but I've also seen similar described as potpourri or ginger jars. It's a feminine saturated almost mauve pink with a gold toned band around the lid and maroon colored summer floral and line design. There's "97" hand painted on the bottom. That could denote the year 1897 or that it's the 97th piece in a grouping, I'm not certain. It's striking in it's coloring and design and would be nice on a dresser or vanity. It could even be a small vase if you remove at least the solid lid. There is a chip out of the solid lid that you can't see until you remove the top lid and then remove the solid one. There is also wear throughout in the form of loss of finish and staining. It looks nice overall. Please see pictures for condition detail. I refund shipping if it's less than estimated.
