Was developed by specialists from one of the Norwegian companies, who presented their views to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in 2012. MM-14 (an acronym for "Camouflage Pattern of 2014"), also known by its unofficial names "Pixel" and "Ukrainian Pixel," is a five-color digital disruptive military camouflage adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014. It was introduced by the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, and besides its official name "Camouflage MM-14," it received the unofficial nickname "Poroh-1." The camouflage color set in the Pantone Textile System includes: - PANTONE 15-1216 TC (light beige) - PANTONE 17-0510 TC (light green) - PANTONE 17-0620 TC (marsh green) - PANTONE 18-0825 TC (gray-green) - PANTONE 19-0414 TC (dark gray) It is believed that the prototype for the MM-14 camouflage pattern was the pixelated "universal" American camouflage UCP, which was in use by the US Armed Forces until 2014. The Ukrainian development inherited the pixel pattern from its predecessor, which had already proven effective in combat. It is known that such a pattern visually "blurs" a person's silhouette, making them nearly invisible. The color scheme of the Ukrainian military pixel camouflage is unique and takes into account the environmental characteristics specific to Ukraine.
