Description
On offer here a Still Factory Sealed exemplar of one of the finest compilations on vinyl of great performances throughout his concert career by the peerless Vladimir Horowitz captured in both live and studio performances via RCA recordings of the era. This disk released by RCA in 1975. All tracks Mono here but the soloist's resplendent pianism comes through with every note. Awesome readings of the Mendelssohn Variations Serieuses (from 1946), the Mozart F-Major Piano Sonata, K. 332, (from 1947), and Schumann's heart-felt Variations on a Theme by Clara Wieck (from 1951), among Horowitz's own favorite takes on this keyboard masterpiece. Album here is Presumed First Edition and Presumed First Pressings from the original masters. Jacket is Mint still firmly in Shrink-Wrap. Not a Cut-Out. A superlative copy.
